I first started writing music when I was 16 years old. For some reason I stopped as soon as I became an adult. I didn't realize how much I had missed writing music, though, until 2007 when I sat down with my guitar one afternoon and wrote Just My Good Fortune, a song inspired by a friend of mine who lives on the streets of Laguna Beach, California.
